Dive Sites – Reethi Faru

Most of the dive spots can be reached within 10 – 45 minutes by boat (Fiber Dhoni). The furthest dive spot is about 1 hour away from Reethi Faru. At the moment we visit approximately 45 spots, which are divided into 5 basic categories: thilas, giris, outer reefs, island reefs and channels.

Depending on the season we can see different fish life. Reethi Faru is located in the middle of the southern Raa atoll. We can reach the east and the west side easily within 30 to 40 minutes. Manta diving is possible nearly all year around! In Raa Atoll, the divers will find dive sites with stronger currents, giving the chance to see some of the “big ones” – Eagle-Rays, Grey Reef Sharks, Giant Trevallies, Silvertip Reef Shark which are all common at these dive spots.
